Star actor Ajith Kumar received the presented with The Padma Bhushan award on Monday by President Dropdi Murmu. When the Good Bad Ugly actor asked about the award said that the award isn't yet fully absorbed. "I'm still a middle-class guy It's strange to be here being a part of this kind of emotion. I'm overwhelmed and happy," shared the actor interview with India Today.
AK, affectionately referred to from his followers, was present at the celebrity awards ceremony, which was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan situated in Delhi along with actress Shalini and their two kids Anoushka as well as Aadvik.
He said, "At first, I was overwhelmed, but such moments can provide you with a sense of motivation or at the very least, assure you to know that you're following the correct track and can continue to do the same thing you've done all through the years. I'm sure I'm on right path which is why I concentrate upon my job, adhere to my commitments and keep moving ahead."
Ajith Kumar credited his spouse Shalini Ajith as the driving force behind their success and thanked the universe for his achievements. In 2000 Shalini got married with Ajith.
Ajith also spoke about Shalini's sacrifices and efforts for his profession and revealed, "I am not trying to be politically right here. I am referring to it in a broad sense. She was extremely well-known and loved by people. It was her job to you knows...take the backseat. There were moments where my choices were not the best ones. However, she remained with me, never letting me down and remained with me through the most difficult times."
